Disability Services Coordinator (Nuriootpa)

As demand has increased for disability services across our communities, we are seeking a highly motivated, passionate, self driven individual to join our experienced Disability Services Team. The Successful applicant will possess excellent written skills, highly effective communication skills, administration and computer skills, accuracy and attention to detail. We offer this position based at Nuriootpa, as a negotiable permanent part-time position at .8 FTE or a Full Time position at Level 4 (SCHC&DSI Award).

The successful applicant will demonstrate:
• Experience and understanding of person centred plans for people with a disability.
• Coordination of Supports for NDIS participants
• Leadership, team work, planning and relationship building abilities.
• A demonstrated understanding of the potential needs, barriers and opportunities of persons living with disability and their primary carer/s.
• A demonstrated ability to meet personal goals, client driven outcomes and the organisations targets.
• The ability to provide professional services with dignity and respect.
• Empathy and drive in order to meet the needs of the target group
• Effective time management
• Evidence of qualifications in disability, aged care or community services equivalent
• Certificate in Community Services Coordination or Registered Nurse qualifications desirable but not essential

All successful applicants must posses a current DHS Disability Services Employment Screening and a Working With Children Check, Child Safe Environments Certificate and an NDIS Worker Orientation Completion Certificate, or be prepared to obtain these.

Independent Contractors/Casual/Permanent part-time

As demand has increased for disability services across our communities, we are looking or highly motivate, passionate and self-driven individuals to support our clients in their homes and communities.

Subject to your skills and qualifications, you may be required to deliver any of the following services:
• Personal care
• Meal preparation
• Domestic duties
• Gardening
• Respite/social support
• Community support
• Assistance with development of independent skills
• Mentor support
• Cleaning

Minimum current qualifications are:
First aid certificate, Manual Handling Certificate, Food Safety Certificate, Infection Control Certificate, ABN (independent contractor).
Other qualifications and skills in disability, aged or home and community care, education or other relevant discipline, will be an advantage.

Carer Support Worker

We are seeking a Carer Support Worker, who is passionate about the rights, entitlements and recognition of Carers (including Young Carers aged between 5-25 years) , with the skills to provide Carers with individual and peer group support, information, education and advocacy.

This exciting opportunity is being offered until 30th June 2021 (SCHADS Industry Award Level 3) for a part-time or full-time role up to 75 hours per fortnight. The role will be based in CADL’s Balaklava or Kadina office, with the successful applicant working across the Lower North and Yorke Peninsula regions. Qualifications in Community Services specialising in Children and/or Youth as well as an ability to meet the requirements of the Position Description will be highly regarded.

The successful applicant must possess a current DHS Screening Check, Working with Children Check (WWCC) and a Child Safe Environments Certificate.
